Special features
The Graphical Abstract: The Graphical Abstract is a visual clue to the content of the paper and should encourage further reading of the article by highlighting the novelty and main feature(s) of interest. A graphical abstract could for example include simple schematic diagrams or annotated reaction schemes.
The Album: The Album is a unique browsing mode created to enable a rapid scanning of journal articles for structures of interest. For each paper, the editor has selected a collection of representative structures or images, more extensive and less prescriptive than the graphical abstract, which can be easily scrolled through. In the Album, you can flip from one article to the next using the next and previous buttons, much as the pages of paper would be flicked through when browsing a printed journal.
